Safely Home
is a book I believe every young person and adult would benefit from reading. The writing quality is good, though not excellent (I'd love to see Dickens tackle this topic!), but the content is powerful.  It gave me a glimpse into a life where time, money, resources—everything—are used for what is eternal.  It may be a bit idealistic in its portrayal of Chinese believers, but emphasizing differences in their mindset and responses to persecution help inspire the reader to cry out to God for change. Safely Home gets my wholehearted recommendation.
